Whatever you do and whatever your focus – you need to do user testing before you spend weeks/months/money on your initiative.
This mural was in an auditorium I recently visited (detail). Each panel was about 20 feet square. Sadly, the black-and-white photos were muddy and dark. I could barely see them, even though my eyes work fine.
I can’t imagine what the building’s owners spent on the murals (two identical sets on each side) – but whatever it was, it was a waste of money.
Moral of the story? Test your idea before you make any significant investment. The earlier you test, the more time and money you may save!
