Twitter Tip

December 19th, 2012

Twitter will be rolling out a feature in the coming months that is worth your time to latch onto… archiving your tweets. Twitter gave us details on their blog (http://blog NULL.twitter NULL.com/2012/12/your-twitter-archive NULL.html) on December 19th.

This is significant for power Twitter users. You can recycle tweets you spent a lot of time on, a few years ago. You can also see some that might be worth deleting.

This feature will gradually roll out, so it may not be available for you yet – but check back in a few weeks (or maybe a month or two), and then you can freely archive.

1. Go to the settings icon in the upper right corner of your Twitter page.

2. If you can do it now, you’ll see what’s highlighted below in the red rectangle.

That is interesting, Paul. I’m curious to see what that actually looks like.
